Srinagar: The Srinagar Chapter of The Institute of Cost Accountants of India in collaboration with AAA Memorial College Bemina is holding Students Convention on Monday to felicitate meritorious students who have passed different courses of CMA. The venue is Auditorium of AAA Memorial Govt Degree College, Bemina.
The Institute of Cost Accountants of India is a statutory body established under Act of Parliament and has about 100 Chapters and 90 thousand members throughout India and abroad.
Prof. Qayyum Hussain (Vice Chancellor – Cluster University, Srinagar) will be the Chief Guest.
CMA Balwinder Singh (Past President) and CMA Shailendra Kumar Palival (Chairman- NIRC) of The Institute of Cost Accountants of India are attending from Institute side as Guests of Honour.
Srinagar Chapter of The Institute of Cost Accountants of India is having MOU with the Higher Education Department of Government of J&K for conducting different Skill Development Courses in commerce through Bemina Degree College, which is designated as HUB College. For the first time, Under MOU The Institute of Cost Accountant of India has conducted GST Course for the students of Bemina degree college which has been successfully concluded, and 40 students have passed the course and are being felicitated in the function. Based on the success of recent GST course, ICMAI is starting fresh batch of GST course consisting of about 125 students of HUB and other spoke colleges associated with Bemina Degree College as HUB College.
CMA, Bashir Masoudi, Chairman-Srinagar Chapter of The Institute of Cost Accountants of India and Prof. Nazir Ahmad Şimnani, Principal Bemina Degree College are jointly organising the function.
