SKUAST-K holds UET-2022 for UG programmes

Srinagar: Sher-e-Kashmir University of Agricultural Sciences & Technology of Kashmir conducted its 11th Edition of University Entrance Test (UET-2022) at 16 centres across Jammu & Kashmir. Fourteen Centres were kept around Srinagar and two in Jammu to facilitate the candidates of both the regions. The UET -2022 was conducted for admission to various Under-graduate degree programmes viz. BVSc & AH, Agriculture, Horticulture, Agri. Engineering, Sericulture, Fisheries, Forestry & Food Technology. As many as 10083 candidates had applied for the above programmes out of which 9341 (93.59%) of the candidates have appeared in the said examination.
Prof. Nazir Ahmad Ganai, Vice-Chancellor accompanied by Prof. M.N. Khan Director Education, Prof. T.H. Masoodi, Registrar and Prof. K.N. Qaiser, Controller of Examinations visited the examination centres across the Srinagar City to assess the arrangements put in place for smooth conduct of the examination. Vice-Chancellor interacted with Principals, staff and students who showed high level of satisfaction with the arrangements
The University had constituted different teams of observers under the overall supervision of the Chief Observers. The University engaged External Observer from IUST for Centre No. 08 (SKUAST-K, Shalimar) to oversee the proceedings of the examinations.
Prof. Nazir Ahmad Ganai, Vice-Chancellor thanked the Civil & Police Administration in twin cities of Srinagar and Jammu, Principals/ Chief Superintendents of the participant Colleges / Schools and their invigilating staff, media personnel, for their support for fair & smooth conduct of the Entrance Examination. The Vice-Chancellor also congratulated the entire University staff for smooth and hassle free conduct of entrance examinations.
