Srinagar: Directorate of Extension organized an exposure visit of 30 trainees from different districts of Kashmir Valley under 15 days short term certificate course for Fertilizer Input and Prospective Dealers on Integrated Nutrient Management today on 16.08.2022
Hon’ble Vice Chancellor, SKUAST-K, Prof. Nazir A. Ganie and Director Extension, Prof. Dil Mohammad Makhdoomiflagged off the participants for an exposure visit. The programme was organized by Directorate of Extension and participants were given exposure and demonstration regarding horti poultry unit, vermicompost unit, cattle farm unit and dairy unit at KVK Ganderbal, FVSc&AH, Shuhama and MLRI, Manasbal.The programme was conducted by Directorate of Extension in collaboration with MANAGE Hyderabad.
Hon’ble Vice Chancellor, Prof. Nazir A. Ganie appraised the trainings are of utmost importance and need based for boosting the spirit of entrepreneurship to youth and getting the training for generating the income and livelihood for them.
Prof. Dil Mohammad Makhdoomi, Director Extension, SKUAST-K deliberated on the need and importance of exposure visits. The participants were satisfied by the exposure visit and in the coming time by transferring these technologies will help to improve their economic status.
