PAMPORE: A 15 year old boy drowned while taking a bath in south Kashmir Rambi Ara near Nicloora Achsan bridge . He has been identified as Shahid Rasheed son of Abdul Rasheed Reshi, resident of Allaie Pulwama.
A boy drowned to death in Latter in between Pulwama and Shopian district.
The boy had gone to take a bath in the Rambi Ara along with his friends and suddenly he drowned.
Soon after the news of the incident spreed, Tehsildar Shahoora Litter Sami Ullah Nakhsbandi along police and SDRF team rushed to spot, officials said.
Tehsildar Litter Sami Ullah Nakhsbandi told Kashmir Reader that the incident happened between 3 pm to 4pm when the boy had gone to take a bath with his friends in the Rambi Ara at Nicloora Achsan area.
His friends raised alarm after he drowned in the Rami ara.
The rescue team immediately rushed to spot and launched rescue operation.
He said that after efforts by the rescue team, the body of the boy was retrieved from.
After medico-legal formalities his body was later handed over to family for last rites.
