Showkat Yousuf chosen President, Altaf Hussain Vice President

SRINAGAR: A General body meeting of JK Handloom Employees Union (Kashmir Unit) was held in which all District Representatives viz. District Presidents and District Secretaries have participated besides other district members.
The main agenda of the meeting was to elect Provincial President, Secretary, Vice President and Treasurer. In the said meeting all district representatives and members unanimously decided to elect Showkat Yousuf as its President, Altaf Hussain as its Vice President, Zahoor Qadir as its Secretary, Farooq Ah Malik as its Treasurer and Mohammad Sayed Qadri as Media Spokesperson.
Besides these, Fayaz Ahmad Khaki, Ali Mohammad Joo, Parvaiz Ah Posh, were included in the working committee members.
Meanwhile in a statement, Showkat has thanked all employees and union members for putting their trust on him.
