DDC member donates ambulance, oxygen concentrators to PHC Samboora Pampore

PAMPORE: BJP’s DDC member Kakapora Advocate Minha Lateef donated an ambulance and Oxygen Concentrators to the health centre in Samboora area of Pampore in south Kashmir’s Pulwama district on Tuesday.
The ambulance was dedicated by her for poor patients out of her own funds .
On Tuesday it was formally handed over t to the Primary Health Centre Samboora in presence of BJP’s Minority Morcha vice President ,Mohammad Lateef Bhat, Minority Morcha General Secretary, Dr Ali Mohammad, BMO Pampore ,Dr Asima Nazir, RMO SDH Pampore, Dr Mohammad Ashraf, MO Dr Shahnawaz Ahmad,other officials, Hospital Staff and other prominent persons.
The inauguration function was held in the premises of health centre Samboora.
The ambulance with an estimated cost of Rs 7 lakh and oxygen concentrators worth 3 lakh were donated by a DDC member of Bharatiya Janata Party as an initiative to bring better health care to help the poor and needy people of the area.
Adv Minah Lateef handed over the key of the vehicle to BMO Pampore Dr Asima Nazir.
“Today we inaugurated an ambulance here at Samboora, this is a good initiative in view of increasing accidents,” DDC member Minha Lateef told Kashmir Reader, adding that she gave it a top most priority so that villagers of Samboora and adjoining areas get benefited from this facility.
” This is the right way to serve the human race,” she said.
She added that Primary Health centre at Samboora has all facilities.
” The staff strength is good and they deliver in a competent manner,other facilities are also in place,” she said.
She appreciated Block Medical Officer Pampore for cooperating with them.
