Srinagar: Indian Army Monday organised Summer Boat Race at Dal Lake.
The race started from Ghat No – 23, Makai Park to Chaar Chinar.
This race highlights campaign for Dal Clean and against Drug Abuse. The race was flagged by Managing Director, JKTDC, Syed Hamid.
On the first day of the race around 35 participants competed in two heats, out of which 5 participants from each heat got selected for the final race scheduled to be held on 29 June of this month.The overall aim of the race was to engage youth in sporting activities and disseminate the message of keeping Dal clean.
