JKRTC starts bus service from Wahab Sahab to Srinagar after 18 years, flaggs off by BDC Chairman Pampore

PAMPORE: J&K State Road Transport Corporation started its Srinagar-Shar Shali Bus Service after long pending demand of the locals in several areas of Pampore Tehsil in south Kashmir’s Pulwama district.The bus service was flagged off by Block Development Council Chairman Pampore, Apni Party leader Mir Altaf Ahmad in presence of prominent persons of Shar Shali and other adjoining villages, locals told Kashmir Reader on Sunday.
BDC Chairman Mir Altaf Ahmad told Kashmir Reader that the bus service resumed after a gap of 18 years in the area. He said that it was long pending demand of locals of Shar Shali, Ladhoo, Khrew and adjoining villages to resume Shar Shali Srinagar bus service.The bus service with help of Wahab Sahab and Shar Shali residents particularly the student community studying in Srinagar city, edlers and women’s.He also said they took up the matter with managing director Road Transport Corporation during his recent visit to his office for starting the RTC bus service on the Srinagar to Shar Shali route.
The bus Service would cater to the areas Shar Shali, Ladhoo, Mundakpal, Gundbal, Andrusoo, Khrew and other areas of the Pampore Tehsil.The bus will start from Shar Shali at 8:am in the morning and reach 9:am from where it will start its onward journey at 8.45 am from Lala Rukh hotel Srinagar and reach Shar Shali at 9.45 am.The residents of the areas have expressed their gratitude to BDC Chairman Mir Altaf Ahmad and RTC managing director for starting the bus service from Shar Shali to Srinagar.
