Sopore: A day-long Career counselling programme was organized by the Terrific Trio Trust in collaboration with Counselling Cell of Government Degree College for Boys in North Kashmir’s Sopore town on Saturday.
The event was held at the college auditorium with a theme ‘Potential Youth Unplanned Tracks’.
Speakers during the event informed students about various aspects of employability and the provisions like scholarships, self-employment schemes, competitive exams as career options and latest trends in counseling.
The Aim of the event was to motivate students towards competitive exams like IAS, IPS, KAS and to help the students to make the decisions and to give them the knowledge and skills they need for future career and life decisions, said, President Terrific Trio Trust.
One must be goal oriented as this would help them to take a path of which they would succeed. “People often go for Medical, Non-Medical courses but students should try for IAS or KAS as well so as to put an end up on a long-ago trend”, Arshed Raza said .
Meanwhile officials from the Civil and Police department were present on the occasion, besides students from various schools and colleges.The event was sponsored by Lazzat Food and Spices .
