SRINAGAR: Kashmir Harvard Educational Institute, Habbak, Naseem Bagh beat Tyndale Biscoe School, Sheikh Bagh by a solitary goal in a friendly football match played here on Monday.
Both teams played quality football and made several moves from both the flanks to open their account. The first half ended with a scoreline of 0-0.
In the second half KHEI played attacking football and managed to penetrate the defence line of TBS when mid-fielder Saliq Hilal scored the lone goal of the match. TBS tried their level best to score the equalise but KHEI strong defence thwarted their every move, when the final whistle blew the scoreline remained 1-0 in favour of KHEI.
Saliq Hilal of winning team walked away with the man of the match award.
Chairman of KHEI congratulated the coach and the entire team for their laudable performance.
