Exposure visit of trainees to MLRI SKUAST-K

Srinagar: Directorate of Extension organized an exposure visit of 100 trainees from different districts of Kashmir valley under training leading to Diploma in Agriculture Extension Services for input dealers (DAESI) to MLRI Mansbal, SKUAST-K on Thursday
The Vice-Chancellor Prof.NazeerAhmad Ganai and Director Extension Prof Dil Mohammad Makhdoomi flagged off the participants of DAESI for an exposure visit. The programme was organized by Directorate of Extension and participants were given exposure and demonstrations regarding vermi compost unit, Dairy unit, Milk Processing unit, silage making etc. and other farm practices at MLRI Mansbal.
The programme is being conducted by Directorate of Extension in collaboration with MANAGE Hyderabad. Vice-Chancellor Prof Nazeer Ahmad Ganai apprised that training are of utmost importance and need based for boosting the sprit of entrepreneurship to youth and getting the training for generating the income and livelihood for them. Prof. Dil Mohammad Makhdoomi, Director Extension SKUAST-Kashmir deliberated on the need and importance of exposure visits. The participants were satisfied by the exposure visit and in the coming time by transferring these technologies will help to improve their economic status.
