U14 Volleyball Championship: Govt Model Cluster School lifts summit trophy

SRINAGAR: Govt Model Cluster School Verinag won the U14 volleyball championship played at Government Degree College Ground, Verinag and High School Chowgund.
The championship was organised by Zonal Physical Education Office Verinag.
Students from different institutions of zone Verinag participated with zeal and enthusiasm.
Headmaster of Govt Model Cluster School Verinag Mushtaq Ahmed Wani congratulated the students of the school for their performance.
He further added that playing volleyball on a regular basis is one way to increase our physical activity level, which will help us get fit and toned, as well as healthy and energetic.
Regular exercise also might help ward off depression and increase feelings of happiness and well-being.
Furthermore he added that in the coming days we will come up with more such competitions so that our students get infused with positive energies.
After the completion of Volleyball competition, prizes were distributed to the winner along with runner up teams in presence of the teaching staff and officials.
Senior PEM Ibrahim and NYC ZPEO VerinagNasir Ahmad Najar distributed prizes among winners and runners on the occasion.
