Srinagar: Police in a statement said that a 17-year-old boy named Shabir Ali Mir, son of Ali Mohd Mir, resident of Gund Hasibhat, has drowned in Suknag Nalla at Kawoosa in Budgam district. “The body was fished out from the stream by the locals and was taken to his native place for last rites. Police Budgam is enquiring into the circumstances which lead to the drowning of the individual,” police stated.
