Eat Right India awareness held alongside Health Mela at SDH Bhaderwah

BHADERWAH: Emphasizing the initiatives and checklists enumerated under Eat Right India, the Department of Food Safety DFCO Doda took part in the Health Mela to promote availability of safe, healthy, fresh and quality food for the Consumers, including introduction of Fortified Food in ICDS centers and Midday Meal scheme to thwart malnutrition among the children.
The DDC Chairman Doda Dhananter Singh Kotwal inaugurated the Health Mela. He inspected the stalls of departments and interacted with the organisers.
Addressing the audiences, he enlightened them about the objectives & goals of the event and health schemes introduced for the welfare general public.
On this occasion, Assistant Commissioner Food Safety DFCO Taraq Ahmad Butt explained the purpose of the Eat Right India-slogan and hailed support of DDC Chairman to the department to promote theme *Awo mil ker ye shapat lain Thora tail cheni aur namak Kam karain, saff safye pur Pora dehan dain*
