Kupwara: The Team Red’s Kupwara Unit distributes ration kits among 205 families at Kupwara keeping up with the team’s obligation to reach out to the needy during the ongoing holy month of Ramzan.
The team of members headed by Isra Wani (Zonal Secretary North Kashmir & HOD Womens Wing) and comprising of other local unit functionaries including Zubair Azad (District Coordinator Kupwara), Tahir Wani (District Secretary Kupwara, Aqib Sheikh (Addl Zonal Secretary), Iqbal Wani (Dy. Dist. Coordinator), Wariq Gulzar (Media Head), Rabia Wani, Aaliya, Arsalan Wani , Ayaan Altaf ,and Yasir spearheaded the drive.
Ramzan is a month of giving and keeping up with this consideration, our team reaches out to the needy during the month of Ramzan. “This is an effort in that direction. The kits were distributed after making ground assessment so that the kits reach the needy ones. In the future also, we will carry out such drives across various parts of the valley,” The functionaries said.
Meanwhile, The Team Red distributes ration kits among Families at various areas of Srinagar District.
It is germane to mention here that the distribution drive was carried out only after verifying the beneficiaries.
Keeping up with the team’s obligation to reach out to the needy during the ongoing holy month of Ramzan, the team mates distributed the kits to scores of poor families.
Among others Shakir Shafi (Executive Secretary, Muazzam Mehraj (Managing Secretary), Humaan Javed (Organising Secretary, Misbah Rather (Coordinating Secretary), Mubashir Khawaja (HOD Donation Drive & Relief), Shuaib Burgee (Core Member), Faiq Wani (HOD environment), Adnan Faried (Media Head) & Syed Faraaz Qadri (Joint Secretary) were part of the distribution team.
The locals appreciated the efforts. Applauding the efforts of team members,Team Chairman Sadaat Nasir Wani said”Ramzan is a month of giving and keeping up with this consideration we make it a point to reach out to such families which are poor.
