Experience sharing workshop under (BBBP) also held

PULWAMA: The District Programme Officer (DPO), ICDS, Pulwama, Zahoor Ahmad today felicitated frontline workers and COVID warriors of the district during a felicitation programme cum sharing of experiences workshop under Beti Bachao Beti Padhao (BBBP) organized by the ICDS, in collaboration with the District Administration Pulwama .
Speaking on the occasion, the DPO congratulated the frontline workers for the role they have played in raising awareness on valuing the girl child and fighting against the Covid pandemic.
He also lauded the services rendered by frontline workers who have been working round the clock without caring for their personal lives, families or even their own safety for containing the spread of Covid-19 besides raising awareness on valuing the girl child and helping the needy. He said such selfless services will be remembered for generations to come.
As part of the programme, Officers incharge of various cells shared awareness on valuing the girl child.
Other highlights of the programme, included distribution of appreciation certificates by the District Programme Officer, ICDS, Pulwama to officers and staff of the district performing awareness on valuing of girl child, Poshan Mah and COVID duties in various capacities.
