PAMPORE: Two persons were held by Pampore police along with illicit liquor during checking near JKEDI Pampore area of Police district Awantipora on Monday evening.
A Police officer told Kashmir Reader that police party of police station Pampore while performing checking near JKEDI Pampore and during naka checking apprehended two persons namely Kanaya Ram son of Hardev Ram, resident of Gobrayian Bihar and Krishna Ram son of Sudama Ram, resident of Chewdi Bihar At present Litterbal Pampore.
During their personal search 21 bottles of illicit liquor of different brands were recovered from their possession which they were carrying in two seperate bags. The duo were arrested on the spot and shifted to police station Pampore.
Police registered a case in this regard against the duo at police station Pampore and investigation was taken up.
