Srinagar: The Jammu & Kashmir National Conference Senior Leader, Former MLA & Constituency In-Charge Eidgah Haji Mubarak Gul on Sunday asked the party functionaries to work in tandem to strengthen the party at grassroot levels.
Gul said this while addressing a meeting of party’s block functionaries & workers at Noorbagh Eidgah.
On the occasion he expressed concern over the government notice served to families asking them to vacate from Yarkandi Sarai in Safa Kadal. “These families have been living in the p[remises for decades now. Government must be empathetic to their condition and ensure they are rehabilitated properly,” he said.
Extolling the party functionaries for their hard work, sacrifice and sense of commitment, Gul said, “Workers of NC are epitome of sacrifice and selfless service who have withstood all challenges and proven their loyalty towards people, party and its leadership.” He exhorted them to reach out and work closely with people to strengthen the party at all levels.
Block President NC Eidgah Abdul Khaliq Sofi, Block Secretary Adv Yunis Mubarak Gul, party functionaries and other prominent party workers attended the meeting.
