Srinagar: The Community Information Centre (CIC) operators working in Rural Development Department have appealed the Financial Commissioner for regularisation of the or servicers and salary hike
In a letter addressed to the The Financial Commissioner,(Additional Chief Secretary)Finance Department the CIC operators have said that they are well qualified having MCA, M.Tech, M.Sc.IT, B.E and B.Tech Degrees and are technically very sound and efficient working with RDD since 2004 on contractual basis .

Adding that they have been withdrawing a megere salary for their work besides their future being bleak in wake of their non regularization .
The letter added that since the government is well aware of their grievances their regularization should be carried out at earliest with a hike in their salary.so that we may be able to feed our families, provide proper education to our children and care for our old parents who are dependent on ourselves.
