Srinagar: A meeting to review the NABARD-funded projects at Sher-e-Kashmir University of Agricultural Sciences and Technology of Kashmir was jointly held by the Vice Chancellor, SKUAST-K, Prof Nazir Ahmed Ganai and Chief General Manager, NABARD J&K, Dr AK Sood.
The meeting was held in hybrid mode with Vice Chancellor SKUAST-K, Director Research Associate Director Research, Principal Investigators of NABARD funded projects operational at SKUASTK and Kashmir based NABARD officers attending it from Vice-chancellor Secretariat, SKUAST-K, and CGM NABARD and Jammu based NABARD officers attending same from NABARD Regional Office Jammu.
Vice Chancellor SKUASTK thanked NABARD for supporting as many as 12 projects with a total financial outlay of 1.17 crore under the Farm Sector Promotion Fund and urged Principal Investigators to work with more zeal to realise the project objectives in a time-bound manner. He hoped for continual support from NABARD.
CGM NABARD while expressing satisfaction over the progress of NABARD projects called for effective monitoring of the projects. He urged for documentation of the project activities and success stories. DGM NABARD Kashmir Manohar Lal appraised the Principal Investigators about timely conduct of PMIC meetings, documentation of project activities etc.
