PAMPORE: Former Imam e Hi of Khankah-e-Moula Pampore, Peerzada Mohammad Sharief-Ud-Din passed away on Wednesday morning at his residence in Saffron Town Pampore.
Moulana Peerzada Shareef-Ud-Din led prayers at the Khankah-e-Moula for more than 30 years.
Shareef Sahib, resident Astan Mohalla of Namblabal Pampore was not feeling well for some time and left heavenly abode on Wednesday morning, an Auqaf member, John Mohammad told Kashmir Reader.
Idara Auqaf Pampore, Teachers Forum, Fallah Behboob Committee Pampore, Media persons, Civil Society members and other prominent citizens condoled the sad demise and expressed profound grief and sorrow for the irreparable loss.
They also extended their heartfelt condolences to the bereaved family and prayed for eternal peace to the departed soul.
Members of Idara Auqaf Islamia Trust Pampore has expressed deep grief over the demise of former Imam e Hi Khankah-e-Moula Pampore, Peerzada Shareef-Ud-Din.
In a condolence message issued to Kashmir Reader, President Idara Auqaf Islamia Trust Pampore, Mohammad Makbool Shah Expressed heartfelt condolences and sympathy with the family, followers, relatives and friends of Shareef-Ud-Din Sahib, the members of Auqaf Pampore prayed for Jannat-ul-Firdous to the departed soul and forbearance to the bereaved family members to bear the irreparable loss.
J&K Teachers Forum Condoled the sad demise of Peerzada Shareef-Ud-Din. Mohammad Afzal Bhat, provincial president of JKTF in a statement issued to Kashmir Reader said that he was shocked to hear the sad news and expressed solidarity with the bereaved family. He also prayed for peace to the departed soul and courage to the family to bear the sad loss.
Fallah Behbood Committee Chief Organiser Mir Murawat Hussain also expressed shock on the sad demise of Shareef-Ud-Din Sahib and expressed solidarity with the bereaved family. He also prayed for peace to the departed soul and courage to the family to bear the loss.
Media persons Bilal Habib, Javid Sofi, Syed Manzoor, Dar Tariq and Sheikh Kounsar expressed grief over the death of Peerzada Shareef-Ud-Din Sahib and paid heartfelt condolences to the the bereaved family.
They prayed Almighty Allah to bestow Jannah to the departed soul.
Meanwhile, hundreds of people from different areas participated Nimaz e Jinaza of the Peerzada Shareef-Ud-Din held at Khankah-e-Moula Pampore.
