PULWAMA: Ayush Unit Pulwama organised a grand seminar to celebrate World Unani Day 2022 at Government Degree College in south Kashmir’s Pulwama district on Friday.
An impressive function was organized by Ayush sector Pulwama in the Auditorium of Government College for Women Pulwama. Additional District Development Commissioner Abdul Aziz Sheikh (KAS) was the chief guest , while Prof Mushtaq Ahmad Lone Principal Government College of Women Pulwama was the guest of honour.
Project officer ICDS Pulwama Yasmeena Majid, District Youth Services and sports Pulwama Syed Noor -ul-Haq, Dy Chief Medical Officer Pulwama Dr. Tehmeena Jabeen were part of the guests.
Dr. Zahoor Ahmad District Nodal Officer Ayush Dr. Ali Mohammad Reshi welcomed the guests and gave a detailed presentation of the activities and achievements of Ayush sector Pulwama. All the Medical officers and paramedics of the district were present in the event. Prof Mushtaq Principal Women Degree college Pulwama gave a detailed discussion on the importance of Unani treatment with refrence to chronic, skin, sx diseases. Additional District Development Commissioner Pulwama appreciated the role and activities of the Ayush sector Pulwama and assured full support to the department from their office, District Aush Unit district hospital Pulwama Dr Altaf Shah told Kashmir Reader.
At the end three institutions of the district Ayush DISPY. Ratnipora, Ayush DISPY. Lurow, and Ayush unit District Hospital Pulwama were awarded for their best performances.
Besides nine media persons from Pulwama and Pampore were given certificates of Appreciations for given wide publicity to the Ayush activities during the year 2021-22.
The event was facilitated by Dr Altaf Shah ,Dr Zahur ,Dr Nayeem ,Shahid Ahmad,Farooq Ahmad and Manzoor Bandh.
