DC Kishtwar appeals civil society to follow COVID protocol religiously

KISHTWAR: Deputy Commissioner Kishtwar Ashok Sharma today urged civil society to follow Covid Appropriate Behaviour religiously to safeguard their life.
He said that as the graph of the virus is going up in the country, people need to be extra cautious to avoid the third wave by not lowering their guard.
He appealed to the transporters, Shopkeepers and other stakeholders to abide by the laid down COVID guidelines/SOPs issued by the government.
The DC said that the administration will not allow any violation of Covid protocol and action shall be taken against the violators under the various provisions of relevant Act.
Besides, he urged parents to get their children between the age of 15 to 18 vaccinated at the earliest.
He informed that the dose of vaccine can be had from selected schools, special vaccination camps and other vaccination centres as well.
Furthermore, the Deputy Commissioner solicited the PRIs and the religious leaders to sensitise the common masses to stick to the universal usage of face masks, maintain social distancing and maintain hygiene by frequent hand washing besides taking age appropriate COVID protection vaccination on time.
