418 Covid cases in J&K, highest in 6 months

Srinagar: First time in the last six months, Jammu and Kashmir saw a major surge in Covid cases with 418 cases of the infection reported in both the regions.
An official bulletin said that 311 cases of Covid were detected in Jammu and 107 in Kashmir.
Moreover, 140 more COVID-19 patients have recovered and been discharged from various hospitals including 28from Jammu Division and 112 from Kashmir Division.
Providing district-wise breakup for positive cases, the bulletin said that Srinagar reported 52 cases, Baramulla reported 13 cases, Budgam reported 16 cases, Pulwama reported 08 cases, Kupwara reported 09cases, Anantnag reported no cases, Bandipora reported 03 cases, Ganderbal reported 04cases while as Kulgam and Shopian reported 01 fresh cases each today.
Similarly, Jammu reported 109 cases, Reasi reported 156 cases for today, Udhampur reported 15 cases, Rajouri reported 05 cases, Doda reported 03cases, Kathua reported 10cases, Samba reported 03 cases, Poonch reported 06 case, Kishtwar reported 03cases while as Ramban reported 01 case for today.
On COVID vaccination, the bulletin informs that 83,611doses of COVID vaccine have been administered in the last 24 hours bringing the cumulative number of doses administered across J&K to1,89,79,313, it added.
