SRINAGAR: Commissioner SMC Athar Amir Khan Fridayday visited Shivpora to review the ongoing work of the cycle track. He also inspected the functioning of street lights being installed there.
He was accompanied by Joint Commissioner works, concerned Engineering wing, and other officers.
Commissioner also visited Tengpora to review the establishment of a modern abattoir . He was informed that it is underway with a slaughtering capacity of around 5000 sheeps and goats.While reviewing the status of the work he directed the officials to have speedy work on the project and ensure its completion by March 2022.
He was briefed by the concerned that abattoir shall be of high standard where all the slaughtering will take place under one roof and shall be completed soon within stipulated time.
