Srinagar: Anjuman Nusrat-ul-Islam Srinagar has expressed deep sorrow over the demise of the elder sister of Moulana Shaukat Hussain Keing, the patron of Anjuman Himaayat-ul-Islam. The deceased was the wife of Khwaja Ali Muhammad Purasgar
In its condolence statement, the Anjuman termed the deceased as a very pious and virtuous woman and paid rich tribute to her.
The Anjuman Nusrat-ul-Islam on behalf of the institution and its head Mirwaiz-e-Kashmir Dr Moulvi Muhammad Umar Farooq who continues to be under house arrest since 5 August 2019, expressed heartfelt condolences and solidarity with the bereaved family members especially Moulana Shaukat Hussain Keing and Ali Muhammad Sahib.
The Anjuman also prayed for Jannat-ul-Firdous to the departed soul and forbearance to the bereaved Keing and Purasgar families.
