EJAC urges government to resolve pending issues of employees

Srinagar: Employees’ Joint Action Committee Jammu Kashmir (EJAC) held a day long convention at Lal Mandi Government Complex Srinagar . The meeting was chaired by the President Fayaz Ahmad Shabnum. In the meeting, various issues related to the development and welfare of the employees were discussed including regularisation of all types of temporary employees; resolving the pending issues of employees of Sheep and Animal Husbandry Department; issues of PDL/ TDL workers of PDD Dept. The quorum present on the occasion in one voice advocated unity and cooperation among the sister concerns. Different leaders spoke on the occasion and enlightened the audience with their ideas and experiences.
Speaking on the occasion, Fayaz Ahmad Shabnum reiterated his pledge that not a single employee shall be made to suffer and no issue will be left unresolved. He heard the issues raised by the employees of Sheep & Animal Husbandry and assured them of full support towards their genuine demands.The employees also requested the leaders to voice their demand for creation of posts like Rukh Overseer besides getting them the benefits of Risk Allowances and removal of pay anomaly.
He also focused on the leaders as well as employees to remain sincere, dedicated and honest to the cause.
Fayaz Ahmad Shabnam urged the administration to resolve the pending issues of employees, especially those of the Sheep and Animal Husbandry Department.
The prominent leaders who attended the convention included Dr. Manzoor, Mohd Akbar Khan, Mohd Altaf Handoo, Manzoor Ahmad Pampori, Showkat Ahmad Bhat, Mohd Yaqoob, Showkat Ahmad, Dr. Shabir, Nisar Ahmad, Bashir Ahmad Thokar, Ghulam Nabi Kralpuri , Muzaffar Ahmad Ganai along with his associates.
