NIFF Youth Football League: J&K Bank, SCF academies emerge victorious

SRINAGAR: The NIFF Youth Football League 2021 kick started at Synthetic Turf Football Stadium Ground TRC Srinagar here on Saturday.
On the opening day two matches were played of the League.
The first match was played between J&K Bank Academy and Kupwara FA which was won by Bank Academy by 2-0 goals. Yawar and Shiekh Salman were the goal scorers for the Bank Academy.
The second match of the fixture was played between Sports Council Football Academy and Langate Handwara FA that ended at 5-1 scoreline in favour of SCFA.
The goal scorers for SCFA were Waris, Ubaid & Farhan whereas the solitary goal for Langate was scored by Faizan.
Ubaid Bhat of SCFA was adjourned Player of the Match and received memento and cash award for his brilliant performance.
Proprietor New JK Roadways Maqbool Ahmed was Chief Guest on the inaugural ceremony
He was accompanied by several other dignitaries who witnessed and enjoyed both the matches of the day.
Chairman NIFF Bashir A Malik, Advisor NIFF Ab Hamid Banday, Former National Footballer Nazir Andrabi, International Coach Sajid Dar, AFC Pro License Coach Hilal Rasool, International Footballer Aslam Parvez, AFC A License Coach Manzoor Ahmad, AFC B license Coach Ajaz Ahmad Bhat, and other prominent members of NIFF were also present.
The Chief Guest on seeing the enthusiasm among the young and budding players announced an encouraging cash prize of Rs1500/- as Player of the Match in every match of the League.
Youth Football League is being organised by NIFF J&K in collaboration with J&K Sports Council.
