YSS beat KU by 52 runs

Srinagar: Departmental team of Youth Services and Sports defeated Kashmir University cricket team by 52 runs in the league come knockout Inter Department (Employees) T-20 Cricket Tournament 2021′, being played at the University of Kashmir ground here on Monday.
Batting first DYSS team managed to put a decent total of 195 runs on the board. Down the order Adil Sofi played 24 balls cameo scoring (53) and was ably supported by Imtiyaz Ahmed who scored quick fire 30 from just 14 balls and Parminder Singh also contributed 24 from 14 balls.
In reply Kashmir University team was shunted out for 143 runs. Bilal Shamas was pick of the bowlers by claiming three wickets up-front. Rafiq Ahmed, Mudasir Ahmed and Parminder Singh bagged a wicket each.
A total of 16 teams from various government departments are participating in the tourney.
The tournament is organized by University of Kashmir’s Directorate of Physical Education and Sports.
