SRINAGAR: Dulhasti Power Station, Kishtwar celebrated 47th NHPC Raising Day with great fervor on Sunday. Inaugurating the function, Surendra Kumar Mishra, General Manager (Electrical), Dulhasti Power Station hoisted the NHPC flag followed by NHPC song. Speaking on the occasion, Surendra Kumar Mishra, General Manager (Electrical) greeted and called upon everyone to work hard and diligently to take NHPC to new heights of progress.
In the ceremony, a melodious program was presented by the local artists of Sugam Sangeet Musical Group. Moreover, cultural programs were also presented by the employees of Dulhasti Power Station. The General Manager (Electrical), Dulhasti Power Station felicitated the local media persons specially invited in the program with mementoes and also distributed prizes to the participants of cultural programs and Sugam Sangeet Musical Group. Ashok Kumar Dhanwal, Senior Manager (HR) conducted the program and presented a vote of thanks and expressed his gratitude to all for successfully organizing the program.
Special invitees in the function, Deepak Saigal, CEO, Ratle Hydroelectric Power Corporation Ltd., Sudheer Kumar, General Manager, Pakaldul HE Project, Bijoy R. Nair, General Manager and Shyamlal Marandi, General Manager, Kiru HE Project were present on the occasion.
The program concluded with the national anthem.
Moreover, G.C. Sinha, Deputy General Manager (Electrical), B.D. Mohrana, Deputy General Manager (Electrical) along with other senior officers of Dulhasti Power Station, employees and their family members were also present in the function.
