Srinagar: Cyclist Manan Wani is going to pedal 1700 kilometers- shuttling between Jammu and Srinagar with a message: ‘Peace’ and ‘Say No to Drugs’
As per the programme, Manaan would pedal to every district of both Kashmir and Jammu province covering approximately 1700 Kms.
In a bid to boost cyclist Manaan Hassan Wani, Arco Cement has sponsored him for the event which commenced on 30th October from Sopore.
Manaan who hails from Sopore, has completed solo cycling expedition from Kashmir to Kanyakumari- about 4000 Kms in 27 days January this year.
Manaan, he said that he wants to send a message of dedication and commitment to every youth of J&K.
He has urged all youngsters of valley to participate in various extra-curricular activities to remain fit and healthy. Manan further said that excessive use of modern gadgets have impacted kids and youth drastically and taking part in sports will make them fit and sound.
The management of Arco Cement has also stated that it always encourages youngsters to take part in all kinds of sports.
It further said that their Company leaves no stone unturned in providing platform to young sports enthusiasts and will always provide assistance in every manner to every budding sports persons of valley.
