SRINAGAR: The Directorate School Education Kashmir (DSEK) on Thursday changed school timings both in respect of government as well as recognized private schools across Kashmir Valley.

The DSEK issued an order on Thursday which reads that schools falling within Srinagar municipal limits shall function from 10:00 AM to 3:00 PM.

However, the schools outside the municipal limits and other areas of the Kashmir region have been ordered to function from 10.30 AM to 3.30 PM.

“The order/instructions shall be adhered to strictly by all the concerned institutions. Any deviation in this regard shall be viewed seriously,” reads the order.
