Function to promote tribal languages organised in Khrew Pampore

CEO Pulwama, CSEC Pulwama participated as Chief guest, guest of occasion

PAMPORE: Chairperson Educational Standing Council along with Chief Education Officer Pulwama visited zone Pampore.
A grand function was organised by the Zonal Education Officer Pampore Mushtaq Ahmad in which Chief Education Officer Pulwama Abdul Hye Rafiqi was the chief guest and Chairperson Educational Standing Council Pulwama Dr. Harbakhesh Singh was the special guest. Besides zonal Education Officer Pampore Mushtaq Ahmad Dar the Principal government Girls Higher Secondary School Khrew, zonal president Jammu and Kashmir Teachers Forum Pampore Bilal Ahmad Wani, people from Gujjar comunity, teachers and students from different schools were also present, officials in Education department told Kashmir Reader.
The function was organised to promote Gojri speaking tribal language in which different books and Gojri litreature was distributed among the school children reading in about nine schools located in far flung areas of zone pampore. On this occasion the chairman stressed on to encourage the Gojri speaking people to preserve this tribal language which is an important part of our culture. He aplauded the cultural unity in diversity of our social system.
The Chief Education Officer Abdul Hye Rafiqi also greeted the participants for encouraging the Gojri speaking people in this function by their august presence. He said that it is our collective duty to preserve the ethenic culture and ethenic tribal languages which glorify our mixed social culture, he said.
The Chief guest and CEO distributed Gojri literature and books among the tribal gujjar students of the schools.
Dr. Harbakhesh Singh also sanctioned rupees two lacs for construction of boundary wall in government Girls Higher secondary school Khrew for which the officers were thanked by the people in the function, he said.
