Srinagar: Agriculture Production & Farmers welfare Department Kashmir today observed “Vigilance Awareness Week” and an integrity pledge taking ceremony was observed at Agriculture Complex Lalmandi, Srinagar.
Director Agriculture Kashmir Chowdhary Mohammad Iqbal today initiated the event at Agriculture Complex Lalmandi, where he along with other senior officers/officials of the Department took pledge. On the occasion Director Agriculture Kashmir administered an integrity pledge to all the officers of the Department.
Speaking on the occasion, Director Agriculture said that the Vigilance Awareness Week is being observed by the Department from 26th of October to 1st of November 2021. He reiterated the importance of greater awareness on complaints public interest disclosure, transparence and accountability, and clearing all outstanding vigilance matters. He said to observe the vigilance awareness week, different programs have been scheduled in all the districts of Kashmir valley which amongst other things includes taking an integrity pledge, sensitizing employees about corruption and allied issues through awareness programs and interactive sessions etc.
Joint Director Agriculture Inputs Farooq Ahmad Shah, Joint Director Agriculture Extension Sheikh Shahid Iqbal, Joint Director Agriculture Farms Dr. Syed Waseem Ahmad Shah and other senior officers of the Department were present on the occasion.
