Man injured by bear in Budgam

Budgam: A 65-year-old man got injured after the bear attacked him on Tuesday at Pethzanigam village of the Khansahib Tehsil in central Kashmir Budgam district.
The injured person has been identified by the wildlife officials as Ali Mohammad Wani Son of Ghulam Qadir Wani, 60 years of age resident of Pethzanigam village of Khansahib Tehsil.
An official from the wildlife Control room Beerwah told Kashmir Reader that the bear has attacked one person and he has been shifted to Sub District Hospital Beerwah for the treatment purpose.
“The wildlife department has got success to captured the Bear alive. So, the people will get relief in the area,” official said.
Block Medical officer ( BMO), Dr Javaid Ahmad Ganaie told the Kashmir Reader that the person who have get injured into the bear attacked at the pethizagam have been provided proper treatment into the SDH hospital.
“He has received various injuries in his body. He was also shifted to Srinagar for the better treatment purpose. The injured person was stable in condition during the referred time,” he added.
