Judicial Magistrate Pampore organizes programme on Beti Bachao Beti Padhao at Pampore

PAMPORE: A programme was organized on the theme “Beti Bachao Beti Padhao” under the chairmanship of Judicial Magistrate Pampore Junaid Imtiyaz Mir at government girls higher secondary school Pampore in south Kashmir’s Pulwama district on Monday.
Tehsil Legal Services Committee Pampore under the Chairmanship of Junaid Imtiyaz Mir Judicial Magistrate Pampore under the guidance of Chairman District Legal Services Authority Pulwama (DLSA) Abdul Rashid Malik, Principal District Judge Pulwama and Secretary District Legal Services Authority Pulwama Reyaz Ahmad Chowdhary organised a International Girl Child awareness programme under the subject “Beti Bachao, Beti Padhao” at Government Girls Higher Secondary School Pampore as a part of “Azadi Ka Amrit Mahotsav” , officials told Kashmir Reader.
The programme was attended by Zonal Education Pampore Mushtaq Ahmad Dar, Bar President Advocate Aijaz Ahmad Khan, other bar members of Bar Association Pampore, Principal of Government Girls Higher Secondary School Pampore, staff, and students of the school, Panel Lawyers of PLVs of Tehsil Legal Services Committee Pampore. The chairman Tehsil Legal Services Committee Pampore Junaid Imtiyaz Mir during his speech said the message of this flagship programme is to understand the value of a girl child for a family as well as to the society. He said a female plays equally significant role in the family as much as she does in leadership roles in the society. He further said it’s education that can help the girl child play both these roles to the best of her ability. Further, stressing on the importance of women, he said they are the sheer reason why civilization exists on earth.
Judicial magistrate Pampore also appreciated Bilal Habib, Kashmir Reader and News-18 who cover various programmes of Tehsil legal services authority very well, he said during the speech.
President Bar Association Pampore Advocate Ajaz Ahmad Khan during his brief speech said how important is to protect a girl child and to educate her.
During the programme the administration of government girls higher secondary school, Pampore also shed light on the topic, including lawyers of Pampore bar as well as students of the school.
During the said programme various girl students were felicitated with trophies and certificates by Chairman Tehsil Legal services Committee for excelling in Different fields viz academics, sports, writing etc.
“Today’s programme was organised by Tehsil legal services committee Pampore at Girls higher secondary school Pampore on the directions of Supreme Court,” Judicial magistrate Pampore Junaid Imtiyaz Mir said, adding that through this programme under Beti Padhao Beti Bachav a message was being sent on value of girl child and his education for the society.
He told said that the programme was beautifully organised in collaboration with school education department and they learnt many good things.
