Ganderbal: Sonamarg Cricket Club(SCC) clinched the title trophy of Sheikh ul Aalm Cricket tournament (R.A) by beating Kullan-A by five Wickets in the final s played here on Sunday at Kullan Cricket Ground in Ganderbal district.
Kullan-A skipper won the toss and elected to bat first and set a moderate total of 122 runs on the board. Ishfaq Ahmad played a 11 ball cameo scoring quick fire 30 runs and Raina Mudasir also contributed 24 runs to the board.
Chasing a total of 122 runs Sonamarg Cricket Club, openers provided a solid start as the opener Ashiq Hussain Balti made (31) and his partner contributed (14)
Fasli Ahmad was adjudged man of the Match for superb bowling, while Rouf Ahmad man of the series.
