SRINAGAR: Pedal against Drugs Cycling Championship was held on Sunday at Sopore.
The event was held from Main Chowk Sopore to Govt. Higher Secondary Institute Botingoo. Around 80 cyclists in three categories from various areas of Baramulla participated in the championship.
SSP Sopore, Sudanshu Verma was chief guest on the occasion and gave away prizes to position holders.
In the Sub Junior category Mohd. Aman got first place while as Abu Bakar & Saad got second & third position. in the junior group Arfat Bashir got first position while as Asim Teli & Adnan Bashir got second & third positions respectively, in the senior group Manan Hassan won the Championship while as Nadeem & Aqib retain second and third spot.
The championship was organised by Adventure Wing of Sopore under the aegis of J&K Hussaini Sports Club and was supported by J&K Police & Health Department.
