GANDERBAL: The 2019 batch JKAS Officer, Mohmmad Arif Sheikh Wednesday assumed the charge of Block Development Officer Block Gund and Kangan after completion of administrative training trail in various areas under the supervision of Senior Officers.

Chairperson Gund Mohammad Rafiq Bijran, along with sarpanchs, panchs, members from civil society and Trader’s Body Gund.
Earlier he was briefed by the outgoing officer about the functioning of the block,
After assuming the charge, Sheikh holds an interactive cum introductory meet with officers and field staff leading stressed upon the staff to adopt a public-friendly attitude and urged them to work with full dedication while maintaining high standards of work ethics in the larger interest of the public.
While interacting with civil society Members Gund and Traders Body, Sheikh said that his office will be always open for public to redress their grievances and to fulfill their genuine demands.
Sheikh urged upon the public to support him in making their block a model block. He said that his team will strive hard for effective and transparent implementation of various schemes of Rural Development Department.
