BJP organizes blood donation camp at SDH Pampore

Pampore: Bharatiya Janta Party (BJP) on Tuesday organized a blood donation camp in Sub district hospital Pampore area of south Kashmir’s Pulwama district.
A blood donation camp was organised by Bilal Parrey National Office bearer of Bharatiya Janata Yuva Morcha (BJYM) under the Seva Samarpan at Sub district hospital Pampore.
The camp was inaugurated by jointly Bartiya Janta Party Spokespersons J&K Altaf Thakur and Abhijeet Jasrotia, a BJP leader told Kashmir Reader.
A specialized medical/ Paramedical team from Sub district hospital Pampore conducted the blood collection process.
During the camp members from the BJP youth wing donated dozens units of blood to needy people.
BJP Minority Morcha vice president J&K Mohammad Lateef Bhat, DDC member Advocate Minha Lateef, BDC Chairman Mir Altaf and other leaders were present on the occasion.
Registard Medical officer (RMO) Dr Mohammad Ashraf and other doctors were also present.
On the occasion BJP Spokesperson Kashmir Altaf Thakur praised the party workers from youth wing who was present especially the donors for donating blood .
Taking to media BJP Spokesperson J&K Abhijeet Jasrotia said that in today’s Blood donation camp more than 70 people donated blood which is part of social service under the supervision of Prime Minister Narendra Modi.
He said that they wanted to convey a message to the people in Kashmir through this blood donation camp, was that since 1987 a lot of blood has been shed in streams and fields and did no service to people and helped no one in Kashmir.
“BJP has come up with this message that the blood must be used in saving lives rather than losing lives,” he said, adding that he was very much thankful to the people in Kashmir who showed enthusiasm in donating blood.
He further said that destiny is destiny but from now on the blood must be helpful in saving lives.
