Srinagar: Prof. J. P. Sharma, Vice-Chancellor, SKUAST-Kashmir on his arrival to Srinagar signed an MoU at Ceremonial Hall of International Airport, Srinagar with Integral University, Lucknow (UP). The MoU was signed for mutual cooperation between the two leading Institutes of higher learning. The Memorandum of understanding was signed by Prof. J. P. Sharma, Vice-Chancellor, SKUAST-Kashmir and Prof. Mohammad Haris Sddiqui, Director Admissions and Academics, Integral University. Prof. M.N. Khan Director Education, SKUAST-Kashmir was also present during the MoU signing ceremony.
Prof. J.P.Sharma, Vice-Chancellor SKUAST-Kashmir& Jammu signalled the importance of an alliance between the two varsities for better research programmes, so that both the universities will become the hub of learning for quality education.
As a part of the Memorandum of Understanding, SKUAST-Kashmir will work with Integral University, Lucknow (UP) in areas like facilitating research scholars (M.Sc/ Ph.D) of both the institutions in providing lab and co-guide facilities for their smooth research programmes. Both the Institutions shall arrange training programmes / workshops for their staff as well as students. The Vice-Chancellor appreciated the role of PRO SKUAST-K for making necessary arrangements at Ceremonial Hall, International Airport, and Srinagar for MoU signing ceremony.
