RAMBAN: Animal Husbandry Department, Ramban today organized a series of awareness cum vaccination camps to vaccinate cattle against Brucellosis – Zoonotic disease. The camps were held at block Gandhri, Banihal, Ukhral and Ramsoo under the guidance of Chief Animal Husbandry Officer Bharat Bhushan Raina. A large number of people reached with their cattle to get them vaccinated. During the camps besides vaccination against Brucellosis awareness, other economically important diseases were also provided to farmers. At Gandhri Technical officer, Dr. Sayar and MVO Ramban, Dr. Ilyas Wani conducted the camp whereas Clinical Pathologist Ramban, Dr Amirul Islam at Ramsoo. Similarly Dr Peerzada Suhail and Dr Muzaffar Ahmad Naik conducted the vaccination camps at Ukhral and Banihal respectively with the help of field staff. They also distributed free medicines for cattle among the farmer
