Srinagar: Meteorological department on Saturday said that both divisions of Jammu and Kashmir are expected to receive light to moderate rain showers during the next 36 hours.
As per MeT official update, the chances of incessant rain have been ruled out in J&K and in this regard, it said that “There is no forecast of continuous rains.”
However, it was further said that there would be dry weather expected during next week as no significant system will affect the UT.
Later in the day, MeT in another update said that as the light to moderate rain occured at most places of J&K and Ladakh, the same would most likely continue till 12th in both UTs.
However, it was further said that significant improvement from 13th onwards in J&K is expected.
