National Lok Adalat at Pampore disposes 180 cases, Rs 46,47900 fine recovered

PAMPORE: A National Lok-Adalat was held on Saturday at Munsif Court Pampore in which one hundred eighty cases including civil and criminal were disposed off and an amount of rupees fourty six lakh, fourty seven thousand and nine hundred rupees has been recovered from the violators, violating the Motor Vehicle Acts (MVA) as fine.
A National Lok-Adalat was held at Court Premises Pampore in which a bench was constituted which was presided over by Chairman Tehsil Legal Services Committee Pampore Junaid Imtiaz Mir (KCS Judicial) and Bar President Mushtaq Ahmad Khanday in which various cases were taken up out of which 180 have been disposed off and fine for an amount of Rs. 46,47,900/= was recovered from the violators, violating the Motor Vehicle Acts and in Criminal matters.Civil matters were also taken up and resolved through the intervention of National Lok-Adalat Bench, officials told Kashmir Reader.
A number of senior and junior advocates of Bar Association Pampore, prominent citizens and other officials were also present on the occasion.
Meanwhile, a National Lok Adalat was also held at Additional Mobile Muncif Court Awantipora in which around 220 cases were disposed off and an amount of rupees 61,5200 have been recovered from the violators, violating the Motor Vehicle Acts as fine.
