Teachers day celebrated in Pulwama

PULWAMA: Teachers day was celebrated in district Pulwama with fervent and enthusiasm in memory of all the teachers for their dedication and hard work in the field of moulding tiny brains into fertile national assets. In this great function Chief Education Officer Pulwama AH Hye Rafiqi felicitated the teachers for their outstanding performance in the field of education with medals and appreciation Certificates which include Tahir Ahmad master GMS Pinglena Shakeel Ali Master HS Putrigam and Mtr Afroza Jan Warden KGBV Sangerwani the function was attended by deputy Chief Education Officer Manzoor Ahmad Khan, besides an august gathering of intellectuals, teachers, Parents, senior citizens and students who applauded the role of the veteran Officers of district Pulwama for uplifting and encouraging the teachers for their best performance in the field, officials told Kashmir Reader.
The Chief Education Officer AH Rafiqi in his address said that the teachers have to shoulder all the responsibilities to uptake the education to new heights.
The education besides skill based should also be morale oriented which today’s society demands. The education system should be laden with full capacities and capabilities to withstand the forthcoming challenges of the world like environment, employment, research and technology, farming, technical education etc. Today’s school child is tomorrow’s responsible citizen of the nation and teacher is the only agency on which the future of the nation depends.
The audience was also apprised of the documentation, different interventions and implementation strategies of new education policy 2020(NEP 2020).Teachers are appealed to utilize their full potential to transform an underprivileged society into a developed and civilized great nation.
