Kargil Kings lifts summit trophy

Srinagar: Kargil Kings lifted the final trophy of Captain Saurabh Kalia (T-20) Cricket Cup by beating Drass Daredevils in the final played earlier this week, a statement issued by the army said.
The tournament was held to commemorate the 75 years of Independence, it added.

The tournament was organized by ‘Forever in Operations’ Division under the aegis of Fire and Fury Corps.
A total of four teams represented the remote areas of Dras, Kargil, Biamah and Zanskar took part in the tournament.
According to the statement “The tournament provided an opportunity to the local cricketers to showcase their talent and strengthen the bonds of friendship between the local populace of Western Ladakh and the Army.”
