SOPORE: Police on Saturday recovered a male dead body from river Jhelum near the Jamia area of Sopore in north Kashmir.
Officials said that some locals spotted a dead body floating on river Jhelum near Jamia area and they immediately forwarded its information to Sopore police.
Later a team of police reached the spot and recovered it, police shifted the body to SDH Sopore for examination and identification. The body was not identified when last reports came in, however efforts to identify it are ongoing.
