BARAMULLA: In order to enhance the efficiency of ministerial staff working in different government offices, the education department Baramulla organised a day long orientation programme in government girls higher secondary school Baramulla on Thursday in which govt functionaries, more especially clerical staff, participated.
The programme was conducted under the supervision of chief education officer Baramulla Gulam Nabi Lone which aimed to make the ministerial staff more capable in maintaining accounts, budgets, online billing, files and other necessary functions.
On the occasion, the participants were familiarised about the new pattern of establishing the records of offices, maintaining the accounts and utilisation of budgets, making of online bills through the newly established payment system and keeping file records, by several resource persons. They were also educated to maintain the proper records of the leave system of the employees and utilize the online methods of keeping records of the employees through JKCPIS.
Speaking on the occasion, the CEO termed the ministerial staff as the backbone of government and said that the staff must be well trained for the smooth functioning of government departments. He further said that, in order to make the staff more capable in their respective fields, such orientation programmers shall be organized in near future also. He also appreciated the staff for their services in offices and exhorted them to work with added zeal and synergy so as to get the best and desired results.
Deputy Chief Education Officer Baramulla, officers/officials of education department among other concerned functionaries were present on the occasion.
