Snake captured from a residential house in Panthachowk

PAMPORE: Experts from Wildlife department Range Khrew rescued a snake from a residential house in Panthachowk area of Srinagar outskirts, officials said on Sunday.
Residents from the area informed that they spotted a snake crawling in the vegetable garden around a residential house.
“It created a scare among locals who informed concerned officials of wildlife department Range Khrew who came to the spot and captured it,” the residents said.
it was a four-foot-long snake which was rescued from the vegetable garden of a residential house in Panthachowk area,” the wildlife Ranger Khursheed Ahmad told Kashmir Reader.
it was later released at a safer place in a forest area, they said.
Another snake was spotted at Zinpora area of Pampore which was not captured till the report was being filed.
