SHOPIAN: The Additional Deputy Commissioner Shopian, Mushtaq Ahmad Simnani today imposed a fine of Rs 16,500 on 06 Food Business Operators (FBOs) for violating prescribed norms under Food Safety and Standard Act (FS&SA).
The concerned were found providing substandard services and misbranded consumables to the consumers/ customers.
Consequently, the FBOs were booked and summoned before the ADC, who is also the adjudicating officer and a fine was imposed in five misbranded/substandard cases pertaining to different FBOs under various sections of FS&SA.
The ADC stressed upon the concerned to keep the premises neat and clean and procure registration immediately without any delay.
